In pursuit of its mission to "foster a lifelong bond among its members in support of the UC Bearcat Bands", the UC Band Alumni Association (UCBAA) is constantly seeking new ways to connect alumni with Undergraduate band members for both their mutual benefit and the benefit of the program as a whole. Thanks to the generous assistance of the UC Alumni Association and the Bearcats Connect platform, we're excited to offer a new Bearcat Bands Alumni-Student Mentorship program!
Your participation in this program helps to connect upperclassmen members of the Bearcat Bands with band alumni who can provide advice and guidance as they seek co-ops and internships, take their final semesters of classes at UC, and enter their prospective industries and potentially move to new parts of the country (or world!)
Alumni mentors will work to provide student participants with support in the form of one-on-one guidance, advice, and insight from a former band member who has been in their shoes.
The Program Administrator is Ben Trubach, Undergraduate Engagement Coordinator for the UC Band Alumni Association. Any questions can be directed to him at [email protected].
