Becoming a Member

Any former student or staff member involved in the UC Bearcat bands program is eligible for membership to the UCBAA! We hope you consider joining us as a dues-paying member and enjoy ALL the benefits a UCBAA Membership can provide as we carry out our mission to foster a lifelong bond among our membership in support of the UC Bearcat Bands. 

By joining the UCBAA, you are joining a group of individuals who choose to carry on the traditions of the Bearcat Bands and as a dues-paying member benefit from:
  • Access to UC Homecoming Gameday activities, including on-field performance with the Bearcat Bands, parade performance, and lunch.
  • Priority access to UC Homecoming football tickets (dues do not cover costs of Homecoming football tickets)
  • Helping to fund programs and initiatives that directly support the UC Bearcat Bands, including scholarships.
  • Voting rights at Association meetings, including the election of members to the UCBAA Board of Governors
  • ​And more!

Our goal is to provide an exciting year-round experience for all members! Regardless of membership status, we hope to see you at:
  • Homecoming Reunion
  • Winter Homecoming Basketball Game
  • Community Band
  • UC Spring Football Game
  • UCBAA Tailgate at ALL UC Home games

Your Membership

Membership runs concurrently with the UCBAA fiscal calendar and dues-paying members have active status during this time: July 1st through June 30th.

Not only do your membership dues give you access to Homecoming and other events throughout the year, your dues help support our organization's budget and initiatives of the UC Bearcat Bands. Your membership is a philanthropic gift and is 100% tax-deductible eligible thanks to our partnership with the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association. Please consider donating additionally to your membership dues to help us contribute more towards our scholarship fund and other programs that support students of the UC Band. We could not do many of the wonderful things we do today without the help and support of you, our amazing band alumni, THANK YOU!

As your contact information changes, please update the UCBAA using our online form. This information will allow the Alumni Band board to contact directly with you via our listserv and get you the most up-to-date information quickly!
The UCBAA is currently offering two levels of membership: Individual and Couple. Couples are offered a $10 discount on their second membership! A special discount is available as well for new alumni joining for the first time—welcome!

Current Members

Membership in the UC Band Alumni Association is open to anyone who has completed their participation in the Bearcat Bands program, regardless of graduation status, ensembles participated in, or time of participation. Contact us with any questions!
